Bedford Borough - the unitary authority covering the urban areas of Bedford and Kempston and rural wards in the old North Bedfordshire area, Central Bedfordshire - the unitary authority covering the towns of Ampthill, Biggleswade, Dunstable, Flitwick, Leighton Buzzard Shefford and rural wards in the old Mid and South Bedfordshire areas.
